Is-sinjal għal VETERINARJU għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal TABIB biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn laxk u titqiegħed quddiem is-sider bil-pala tal-id tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 3 milwi u dawn is-swaba’ jżommu l-polz tal-id wieqfa. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal ANNIMAL. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ qrun, jiġifieri bil-werrej u s-saba’ ż-żgħir stirati ’l fuq. Fl-istess ħin is-swaba’ tan-nofs imissu s-saba’ l-kbir waqt li jkunu stirati ’l barra.

The sign for VETERINARY SURGEON consists of two parts. First the sign for DOCTOR is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of a loose fist and is placed forward at chest level with the palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of bent 3 and these fingers hold the pulse of the stationary hand. (ii) In the second part the sign for ANIMAL is made with one hand in the shape of a horn, that is, with the index finger and the small finger stretched straight up whilst the middle fingers touch the thumb as they stretch out.
